Chloe, Charlie, and I joined Chip in the search for salamanders, snakes, and all manner of autumn crawler, under the rock dweller. It was slim-pickins', but Chip managed to scare up a few of the areas amphibians, and one (1) beetle (Ringo I think). Speaking of scare...with Halloween around the corner the kids participated in the school carnival. Charlie attended in full pirate attire and Gretchen made the scene in her slimming skeleton garb. Heads turned...eyes rolled...jaws dropped.
