laissez les bons temps rouler

Mardi Gras is the harbinger of spring where I come from and we enjoy this rite of passage with excess standing in for moderation. In that spirit, our lagniappe on the coffee bar will be serving our coffee with Chef Kelly's Brazilian Pitu Frozen Cream. He combines Pitu rum with fig, whipping cream, magic, and secrets. A dollop in your cup of coffee will add creaminess, sweetness, and cool the drink for instant enjoyment! If you are a cream and sugar guy or gal this is your huckleberry. Tell myself or Shane if you opt not to try the concoction, but you always regret the things you don't try.

Thanks to Chef Kelly (of Bistro 112 fame) for perfecting the Frozen Cream over the last few weeks, we have certainly enjoyed the tastings!
