Seasick, Yet Still Docked

Where your author is headed lest he pull out of port.

Terrifying typhoons, this forced R&R is taking its toll on me! I don't mean to bitch about time off, but a pirate's place is at sea, and at sea is where I belong. Whilst land bound I have adhered to a strict seaman's diet of grapefruit (prevents of scurvy), exercise (keeps the body prepared for swashbuckling), and rum (keeps the mind right). Despite my attempts to stay sharp I slip into the comforts of the indoors. Movies run around the clock, potato chips evaporate in front of me, and naps are common place. This balancing act is about to fall headlong into the abyss of sloth.

The long hours at the helm, the constant socializing with you, and the otherwise mundane routine of running a ship are missed. Keep your fingers crossed, and cross other anatomical parts for good measure, so that perhaps sooner than later we will again be together at sea. Free coffee for whoever knows this entry's title reference.

an old favorite from Morrissey!!??

I am a poor freezingly cold soul
So far from where
I intended to go
Scavenging through life's very constant lulls
So far from where I'm determined to go

To put your own words to use, T, (and I even have the intonations right, with that "Floria accent" of yours) This is #%$KING BULL%@#$! Unacceptable!!!
I'm sure you will appreciate being held accountable in this way. No more excuses! Open the shop, or face the consequences that Tucker Co. has been avoiding for for all time.

Yes, it is true, my colorful language has been used in full flourish. I have been burning my bridges, and making enemies with the hammer-slinging population for over a week now. No new friends until the shop opens!
