"Bring It On Home To Me, Yeah!"

So many cool songs to describe the emotion of love. The bards have given us the vehicles with which we woo the one's we want. (Nice alliteration!) Blow the dust off that Sam Cooke record, Magnetic Fields CD, or "Sweet Child Of Mine" 7 inch, whatever gets the job done, and spin them! Curtis is getting the job done here, and warming our spirits is his preoccupation. What good vibes people are bringing today; smiling, laughing, and joking with us. Thank you!

I have played the family card in regards to our bagel fiasco. Summer's uncle, Chris, is joining us this weekend and since a Bagel Smith bakery is only a few miles away... I am publishing this request to put the additional pressure on. Sorry Chris but desperate times call for desperate measures, and I know you'd do anything to help, as you have illustrated over the years. Thanks Chris!

Curtis' offering today:

Thai Lemongrass Chicken Soup $4.50 (14oz)

Vegetable Stew $4.50 (14oz)

Cream of Potato Basil Soup $4.50 (14oz)

Jelly-Filled Muffin!! $1.00

Chocolate Oat and Walnut Bars $1.50

Blueberry Lemon Honey Scones $1.00

Today's line up is awe inspiring. The Blueberry Scone has no sugar just honey, moist, dense, and mildly sweet. The Chocolate Oat and Walnut Bars are drizzled with chocolate but held together with decadence. Jelly-Filled Muffins are back to my physician's chagrin, as is the Thai Lemongrass Chicken Soup. The Thai Soup doesn't last long with good reason. Both the Vegetable Stew and Cream of Potato Basil Soup are up for the weekend and will hopefully make it to see Monday. I hope we make it to see Monday as well!

If you were lucky enough to get reservations at Whitegrass, enjoy! The menu sounds great. Now step away from the computer; assess what you'll be doing for the person who tolerates, cares for, and maybe even loves you, and make double-dog sure you've done enough to show your appreciation! Happy Valentines Day!
