Black Friday

Wii Geeks.

Gretchen enjoyed her first bottle of wine!

Turkey and moonshine, a West Virginia tradition.

Snow dinosaur, "Steggy".

Summer's siblings arrived Wednesday afternoon and after enlisting her brother, Chris, in the always lugubrious chore of "dig out what the plow hath buried", namely our cars; we took to the streets of Davis rocketing about via sleigh and toboggan. The icy streets were the ultimate track for our speed hungry runs. Four (4) of us piled into Chloe's toboggan and set some epic times down Kent Avenue and 5th Street, filming the whole time.

After setting the 5th Street land speed record the night before, I enjoyed a Thanksgiving ski with Hellbender's first family Rob and Melissa before supping on the lovingly prepared turkey; another good show Summer. Speaking of Rob, who knew he was such a good bowler. It was like having Jeff "the Dude" Lebowski in my living room. Needless to say, Rob took the gold in the Thanksgiving Wii Bowling Invitational. Summer took top honors in the Wii Boxing Tourney, by virtue of her whirling dervish spasm style of boxing. She tore a rotator cuff, but it was well worth it for the sweet victory! The biggest "hit" of the evening came in the form of Banana Pudding. This seemingly simple dessert tempted everyone into seconds, thirds, and in my case, scraping the bottom of the pan with a Spider Man fork in an attempt to savor every morsel. Not to fret dear reader, I have convinced Summer to start carrying the Banana Pudding aboard the HypnoShip, making addicts of you all! An excellent new tradition is born and we were happy to host.
